Officer Jeffery Jobe Named Officer of the Year
Officer Jeffery Jobe has been named Officer of the Year by the Donelson-Hermitage Chamber of Commerce for his tireless dedication to the safety and protection of families and businesses in the Hermitage area.
Jobe was honored today at a Chamber of Commerce luncheon at The Club at Gaylord Springs Golf Links.
Officer Jobe’s supervisors nominated him for his outstanding work on a number of cases during the past year involving domestic violence, illegal drugs and gun crimes. His crime reduction initiatives and proactive police work resulted in 1,541 business checks, 249 community contacts, 131 arrests, and the service of 48 outstanding warrants.
“Jeffery Jobe exemplifies the true backbone of this police department: a patrol officer who does his best every day to keep our city safe and make a difference in the lives of Nashville’s families,” Chief Ronal Serpas said. “I am very proud of him and his outstanding work. I am also sincerely grateful to the Donelson-Hermitage Chamber of Commerce for annually honoring an officer like Jeffery.”
