
Metro Police and the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force are working to identify the man who robbed Wilson Bank and Trust’s 4736 Andrew Jackson Parkway branch at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
The suspect took cash from several tellers at gunpoint and fled on foot.
He is described as a black man in his late 30s, approximately 6’1” tall, and is estimated to weigh around 250 pounds. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a blue bandanna covering his face. No suspect vehicle was seen.
Anyone recognizing the suspect or knowing his whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME or the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force at 232-7500.
