
A medical condition may have caused the death of a Hermitage man whose car crashed into a utility pole on Murfreesboro Pike near Nance Lane early Saturday.
Jack Williams, 50, of Nepal Drive was driving his Acura sedan on Murfreesboro Pike when the car drifted off the roadway and struck a utility pole at 2:15 a.m. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
There was no evidence of alcohol involvement or excessive speed at the scene.
