MACOMB, IL - The Illinois State Police, Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Warren County Coroner, Metro Nashville Police Department, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have identified a homicide victim found on September 2, 2007, approximately seven miles east of Monmouth, Illinois near U.S. Route 34 and Cameron Road in Warren County. The victim was identified as Marvin Davis, age 41, from Nashville, Tennessee.
Investigators are requesting anyone with information concerning where Davis may have been from August 31, 2007 to September 2, 2007 to contact the Illinois State Police at (309) 837-5833, or the Warren County Sheriff’s Office at (309) 734-8506, or Warren County Crime Stoppers at (309) 734-9363, or Metro Nashville Police Department at (615) 862-7329, or their local law enforcement agency.
No additional information concerning this ongoing investigation is being released at this time. Investigating law enforcement agencies would like to thank all media outlets for the assistance they provided while investigators were attempting to identify Davis.
