
The actions of an alert, conscientious Green Hills business owner led to the arrest Thursday of three Memphis men, including a fugitive from justice, suspected of breaking into the Medicine Shop at 2134 Bandywood Drive.
A nearby business owner phoned police to report the break-in at 4:30 a.m. West Precinct officers quickly responded and located the suspect’s vehicle leaving the area. Officers stopped the suspects on Woodmont Boulevard at Bowling Avenue and found burglary tools and property from the Medicine Shop inside thegetaway vehicle.
Carnell Glass, 28, Willie Thomas, 30, and Marcus Walker, 36, are charged with theft of property, burglary, vandalism, and possession of burglary tools.
Glass and Thomas are being held in lieu of $57,000 bond.
Walker was served with a fugitive from justice warrant from Mississippi for possession of burglary tools. Wilson’s bond was set at $335,000 dollars.
