Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s six precincts this week charged 115 persons with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.

South Precinct detectives charged ten persons as the result of investigations on Murfreesboro Pike, Longhunter Lane, Wallace Road, and Harding Place. Seized were 23 grams of cocaine, 2 grams of marijuana, 101 various pills, one weapon, two vehicles, and $630 cash.

West Precinct detectives charged 21 persons as the result of investigations in the 200 block of Joyner Avenue, the 3700 block of Charlotte Pike, the 2300 block of Elliston Place, the 700 block of 28th Avenue North, and the 1300 block of Ireland Street. Seized were 162.2 grams of cocaine, 460.9 grams of marijuana, and $330 cash.

Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 39 persons as the result of investigations on Murfreesboro Pike, Parris Avenue, Millwood Drive, and Fesslers Lane. Seized were 40 grams of cocaine, and 123 grams of marijuana.

North Precinct detectives charged 28 persons as the result of investigations on 23rd Avenue North, Clifton Avenue, 40th Avenue North, Cephas Street, Jefferson Street, Whites Creek Pike, Spears Road, 24th Avenue North, Brick Church Pike, and Trinity Lane. Seized were 3.7 ounces of cocaine, 11.9 ounces of marijuana, 100 Ecstasy pills, three weapons, one vehicle, and $1,677 cash.

East Precinct detectives charged ten persons as the result of investigations in the 800 block of North 2nd Street, the 200 block of Prince, the 3300 block of Cocoa Drive, Whites Creek Pike at Fern Avenue, Dickerson Pike at Richardson Avenue, and Trinity Lane. Seized were 3 grams of cocaine, 56 grams of marijuana, and $291 cash.

Central Precinct detectives arrested seven persons as the result of investigations in the 700 block of 3rd Avenue South. Seized were 5 grams of marijuana, and 2 grams of cocaine.

Persons suspecting drug activity in their neighborhoods are urged to call the police department's 244-DOPE hotline. Callers to the hotline can remain anonymous.
