A good source of information for overall crime statistics is the FBI web pages on the Uniform Crime Report (UCR) at http://www.fbi.gov/ucr/ucr.htm. This site lists the index crimes for all reporting cities across the U.S.
To get crime statistics for your neighborhood, you can request a computer report from the Metropolitan Police Department.
You can also view Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County's statistics for major crime categories, and Interactive Crime Maps for the last month *please note that you must disable pop-up blockers to use this application.
