Grant Financial Management
Grants provide the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department the ability to do many things that would not be possible through regular budget funds. We have been awarded several grants for various programs such as auto theft reduction, stop domestic violence, school partnerships, and GREAT cooperative (Gang Resistance Education and Training).
The Grant Financial Management Section is responsible for reviewing all requests for acquisitions using grant funds, maintaining documentation for all grant acquisitions, monitoring and reconciling central accounts for proper recording of grant related activities, preparing and submitting reports with Grantors, and preparing Grant Management reports.
