MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Information Services Division is to continually improve the efficiency and capability of the Metro Nashville Police Department by effectively implementing and managing information system resources. These services shall provide information that is timely and accurate in order to facilitate the effective management of law enforcement and administrative processes.

RESPONSIBILITY

The Information Services Division is responsible for the department's management of information technology systems. The individuals working in this division are responsible for analyzing and recommending automation within the department and ensuring that all hardware and software developed will be compatible.
